Short Horror Story: Damsel

The adventured prince was perturbed by the locked-away princess’ shocking white hair, solid onyx eyes, and a mouth full of pointed ivory needles caressed by a pointed inky tongue. “They did not place me in here for my protection,” she hissed silkily, arms stretching impossibly long until spindly fingers grasped his shoulders with a threatening clutch. “It was for their own.”

Without a rewarding kiss for his heroic duty to rescue who he thought was a damsel, he was eaten fast and chewed thoroughly by a monster who now waited with a full stomach for her next “prince charming.”

Hello, lovely readers! I hope you’re having a great week. I wanted to post this today before I get carried away with the rest of this busy and somewhat stressful week. The cold is settling in, the leaves are starting to turn, and the ragweed is annoyingly high which means I can’t breathe through both nostrils at once.

So, when are we going to have this video read I’ve been going on about since Day 1 of my Spooky Short Series? That is a great question! Which I THINK I know the answer to!

Meaning I still am entirely uncertain of how to accomplish this, as my phone camera sucks but may be my only way of doing so. My laptop is seriously no better. I wonder if Bailey Sarian could recommend what camera/technology she uses? (If you don’t know who that is, check out her Makeup Murder Mystery Mondays on YouTube, she’s AMAZING!)

In the meantime, friends, stay tuned for the video and any further uploads! I hope you’re as excited for Halloween as I am!!!

Much love,

A. Rose
